Carol has over 20 years of experience designing and evaluating user interfaces for a variety of audiences and in various technical environments.
- Since starting Carol Rossi & Associates in 1996, Carol has consulted for a broad range of clients from major corporations to small startups, product companies to web applications, establishing user research methods, conducting studies, and advising designers on how to incorporate user feedback.
- Carol has taught Human Factors to transportation and product design students at Art Center College of Design, the premier design institution of Southern California.
- She has also taught hundreds of students, from ages 5 to 80, to use software and Internet applications. This direct experience with novices' actions and expectations feeds into her current work.
- Carol holds dual M.A. degrees: in both Human Factors/Applied Experimental Psychology and Dance Ethnology.
