PRIORITIZING RESEARCH FOR IMPACT

Determine what really needs research and when you already know enough

Develop a repeatable framework to identify when research is actually needed, prioritize the right studies, and track impact to see a corresponding increase in the effective use of insights.

You’ll learn the necessary skills to take this into your work immediately.

What it is

Have a repeatable prioritization framework and know how to determine when research is needed and when it’s not, using a Clarity + Risk + Cost model.

Have a worksheet you can use to gather, assess, and prioritize research requests.

Know how to involve stakeholders in your prioritization process and communicate when their requested research isn’t prioritized.

Know how to establish an easily manageable research tracker (using tools you already have) for locating repeatable insights and tracking post-research impact.

Outcomes

You want to have more confidence in the outcomes of your research investment.

You feel that teams aren’t focusing on the research that really matters but you don’t know how to advise them on which research they should be focused on.

Teams are doing what you think is the right research but the insights are falling flat.

You can’t possibly run fresh research for everything you believe is important.

You’ve read articles and listened to talks on how to prioritize research and you still haven’t been able to get it to work in an effective way.

This is useful when

This course is chock full of useful and actionable information and frameworks. I'm excited to use what I learned to help my clients prioritize their research needs.
